I have been photographing weddings and families, first in Fort Worth, Texas
and now in Mississippi, for 14 years.

I specialize in location portraiture and journalistic. or documentary, style
wedding coverage.

I believe a successful documentary wedding photographer is able to capture
the day as it happens. Being ready for anything! Although I realize SOME
time must be spent posing family shots - these can be done efficiently and
quickly.   So much is lost forever when a journalistic photographer spends
hours shooting posed shots.

With this type of coverage - years from now you can relive the day and
remember all the happiness you felt as it unfolded. You won't remember
tense schedules, stiff smiles and endless directions for poses.

I feel I have done my best work when a bride or her mother can tell me
afterwards "I didn't even notice you working!" as they page through their
portraits.
